“ I have been eating here for maybe... 25 years now? LOVE the food. Not crazy amounts of oil, great veggie dishes, and the place is one of the cleanest Chinese food spots I've seen in the city. People on here seem to be complaining about the lady who answers the phone. I was always used to her, so I never cared, and she was always courteous when picking up. That's literally just how she speaks. Not really rude at all, just matter of fact. However, I'm not sure if she's there anymore as I haven't gotten her when calling in a while. Hoping she's okay and that her kids were able to retire her. Kind of annoyed by people calling the area desolate. It isn't desolate, just mostly zoned as residential, so no, there's not a TON of options. This one is definitely solid, and close for hotel people. As you've probably read, all the bad reviews are about service, not the food. Gentler people answering the phones now and they currently take cards! IGNORE THE BAD REVIEWS AND ORDER HERE! ”
“ So I've been here a few times and each time never had any problems and the food was great . Nothing fancy just your typical neighborhood Chinese food restaurant. The employees are friendly and the place was very clean overall. I ordered a chicken broccoli with white rice to go. The food was very tasty, good portion of chicken and it most importantly it was fresh and flavorful. The best part was that the sauce wasn't oily which I've seen happen to me before from different places, you can see the oil settle on the bottom of the container not this place through! I would definitely come back here for more and check out their lunch special menu. ”
“ Food was fresh and tasty. I ordered over the phone and the delivered quickly. Fried rice comes with onions and bean sprout which I like so let them know if you don't want it. ”
“ Fried wings, egg rolls, Singapore mei fun, fried gizzards. Everything was absolutely wonderful ”
“ Angela says..... Today I was stuck in NY and unfortunately cooped up in a Lga hotel and without food. Stayed at the Ibis Styles hotel and they referred this place, who also delivers. I will say , I will definitely order from this place again. God the food was good ! Had an excellent flavor and great taste ! I love Chinese food and with my very high standards for it I wasn't expecting anything but just average and edible. Boy was I in for a surprise. I ordered the Pepper steak w onions. And also an order of vegetable lo mein. I ordered small sizes since it was just me but as good as it was I wish I had ordered large , lol. The delivery was very fast and spot on , my order was exactly as ordered. I am going to go on and give this place 5 stars, even though the lady who answered the phone could have been a little more courteous. Her phone customer service didn't meet the anticipated expectations at all, but I won't let that ruin my experience here. Final word, if you are ever in the NY Lga area, you won't go wrong with this place. ”
“ Great for that Chinese food craving when staying in the isolated cluster of LGA airport hotels. * Tumbleweeds rolling past. Ordered: Sweet and sour pork was so-so. The breading was too puffy around the pork pieces, more like chicken balls- but the sauce was tasty. Honey rib tips with bone. Chewy goodness! Singapore Chow Mei Fun. Yummy and filling. You get a free soda on orders over $10 but they won't say anything about it over the phone and will give you any soda, so specify your preference. Minimum order to your hotel $7. 5 stars for options when you're trapped and too lazy to venture out and explore! ”
